Fun City Bowl 50 & NPSFL National Championship
On Saturday June 3rd, the FDNY Bravest Football team takes on NYPD Finest Football in the 50th meeting of the Fun City Bowl. Bravest football kept the road trip going. Made their way down to the DC area where they put on a great show and won 41-0 over the DC Generals. Bravest defense took the ball away several times and even punched one in the end zone themselves. Bravest offense was throwing and running at will. All around good performance by the special teams as well. Great way to head into the biggest game of the year against NYPD in June 1st 5pm at MCU Park in Coney Island Brooklyn.
Bravest football gets back on track in Austin Texas with a convincing 40-0 win over the Central Texas Wolfpack. The offense marched down the field on the opening drive and put 6 up right away. After that it was off to the races. The Bravest Defense had 5 takeaways and completely shutdown the Wolfpack from early on. The “Turnover Tool” earned its way into the hands of 5 different players. The Wild Rover has returned to Austin. Next stop D.C.
Bravest fought hard Saturday night in Brooklyn but came up short in the season opener 15-12 to NYCD. Bravest found themselves in the red zone 4 times but could only come away with a field goal all 4 times. Bravest defense let up a late game TD on a busted coverage to give up the go ahead TD. Bravest will regroup and take the show on the road to take on the Central Texas Wolfpack in Austin TX on May 4th.
Bravest Football is honored to have our logo represented on the left shoulder of the Brisbane Australia Fire Departments Rugby Team.
